About AWP 2021-2025 Priority Programme

The AADMER Work Programme 2021-2025 was developed based on the foundation laid out by the AADMER with the aim of continuing the momentum made by ASEAN in over a decade on regional disaster management collaborations. The mission for 2021-2025 will be carried out through five (5) priority programmes that reflect the major provisions of the AADMER. Each priority programme includes sub-priorities and outcomes, and outputs that highlight the changes and goals the ACDM aims to achieve in 2021-2025. The outcomes can be achieved by producing and implementing the outputs through activities or projects.

Implementation Monitoring

Implementation Monitoring, which covers the first three out of five steps above, refers to operational tracking of the actual implementation of the agreed outputs under the 5 Priority Programmes. This level covers the mobilisation of inputs and resources, the conduct of activities, and the delivery of outputs.

Results Monitoring

Results Monitoring, which covers the last two out of five steps above, focuses on the attainment of intended results. Results monitoring provides evidence of the results achieved under the AADMER Work Programme by 2025. It provides empirical monitoring data to demonstrate the contribution of completed outputs to the achievement of intended outcomes, as well as the long-term impact that would contribute to the AADMER’s objectives. It clearly articulates progress made, and provides guidance on collecting and documenting the work programme’s successes.
